Our lives were about to change forever. Mom had been in the hospital for over a month and her breathing wasn't getting any better. In fact, they had just put her on a ventilator. This coming Monday, June 9 will be one year that she passed away. So, this weekend we need to celebrate her life and remember that she's in Heaven breathing and dancing (dancing was her passion) and having a grand time and definitely wouldn't want us to be sad.
I've been very, very bad about posting to this blog and I apologize. I'm adding a picture of another shawl that I made for my sister Ronda since she was a little jealous of the one I did for sister Lois. Now, what will I do for the other sister out in Utah......
I am working on a continuous granny baby blanket made with baby yarn that Mom had in her stash of yarn that I inherited but now that summer's here, the crocheting has gotten a little slower.....
I've also signed up for a class over on Crochetville (www.crochetville.org) to learn how to do Cat Color Squares so that I can make a cat afghan, we'll see how that goes. I've never done crocheting with a graph before so it should be interesting.
